Description
From 1958, comes the Elvis Presley LP entitled King Creole on RCA LPM1884 long play MONO. The condition of the cover and the record are in VG shape, with small areas of paper loss on side seam of cover and tiny seam split at seam opening. The main interest here is the ultra rare photo that accompanies this LP. It is 8' x 10' and shows Elvis in a US Army uniform! On the bottom it says,"Exclusive RCA Victor recording artist". The photo was given to each purchaser of the first pressing of the King Creole soundtrack, however, the purchaser of the album had to ask the dealer for the photo. Most people did not, and RCA abandoned this idea and for futture albums which had photos, they were already included inside the LP. Again, the only way to get this photo was to ask the record dealer when you first bought the album! Most Elvis collectors were unaware that this album did have a photo. All subsequent pressings of this LP, including the LPM1884RE did NOT have the photo offer. Small tear on label, small abrasions and embossed marks on photo, otherwise photo is VG++.
