COMMENTS

This is a perfect, original copy of this great, progressive, hard rock, 1971 album with its lovely, textured gatefold sleeve and fine artwork, from the legend that is Deep Purple. It comes complete with the original lyric sheet. This is a rare LP that is quoted in Record Collector.

The great tracks for me are FIREBALL with its marvellous start, driving rock centre and great chorus, DEMON'S EYE with it's unforgetable central bluesy guitar riff , THE MULE with its Eastern feel , led by guitar and well supported by organ and FOOLS with its story, great Blackmore guitar solo and Lord's wonderful organ leads to the finish. A great recommendable LP from the best DP line-up of Blackmore, Lord, Glover, Paice and Gillan.
