Description

Extremely scarce original library/production LP by Alessandro Alessandroni entitled "Light and Heavy Industry" from 1980.  It is on the Coloursound label (Catalog #CS6).  The liner describe it as "music suitable for heavy industry, production lines, demolitions, earth movements, biological research, laboratories, mines, oil rigs, light industry including electronics."   These records were used by sound professionals to make commercials, soundtracks, etc.  The music is excellent--driving, hypnotic and innovative!

 

The vinyl plays M-; the labels have some light spindle marks so I graded it EX.  I replaced the original (generic) inner sleeve with a new rice paper audiophile sleeve.  The jacket has a pasteover on the front from Emil Ascher, Inc.  (Please see photos for greater detail; the last photo is a stock photo of what the front cover looks like under the pasteover.)  It has overall moderate storage wear and is in VG+ condition.  A nice collector's copy!

LP will be shipped in a cardboard record mailer.  I grade vinyl using Goldmine standards as a guide and Near Mint is my highest grade for preowned vinyl.


Your package will usually go out the next business day after purchase, though in rare cases it may take two business days.  I will gladly combine shipping if requested prior to payment.


Please know that vinyl is an imperfect medium, and new vinyl (especially colored vinyl and picture discs) can be subject to minor surface noise and/or imperfections.  I rate sealed vinyl "mint" but, as any seasoned record buyer knows, pressing quality will vary.
