Rare AUTOGRAPHED by Maxine & Patty: THE ANDREWS SISTERS by Popular Demand: Decca
Offered is a copy of The Andrews Sisters: by Popular Demand, on Decca Record label (DL 8360). It is signed by Maxine Andrews ("To Marty & Hazel, Sincerely Maxine Andrews 9/15/79), & also at the bottom of the front cover by Patty Andrews. The signatures are bold & clear (see photos).
THE VINYL: VG+ : There is some scratching & scuffs (probably some dancing was goin' on- check the GREAT tracklist). This MONO version will still provide a quality sound.
THE COVER: EX : There are some minor front cover scuffs. On the back cover a small amount of minor paper loss (top right), likely from price sticker removal; some age-related yellowing.The seams are intact, & corners fairly sharp.
BONUS RECORD: Along with The Andrews Sisters by Popular Demand, we will include a hard to find "Promotional Record" featuring the Andrews Sister performing two songs:
1) Stars, Stars
2) Give Me Back My Heart
This record is a 45 RPM, 7" Capitol Records "White Label" release (45-16498). It is in great EX+ condition, and will be included in the mailing package.
The Andrews sisters were a real morale booster to all American during World War II. This is an opportunity to acquire a valuable part of American musical history.
