Description

Selling more from the collection of about 200 10" Jazz LPs--plenty of rare and quite collectable ones included. As with all 10", condition is not often Mint-, but most are VG++, with some VG+; i'll describe any iffy ones in more detail. As for bid price, i'm setting a few target minimums and pretty much ignoring price guides; i'll let eBay decide...

Very nice copy of this Blue Note with early Lexington address on labels and jacket:

10" Blue Note LP 7017, Boogie Woogie Classics: Albert Ammons Memorial Album, with six great tracks recorded at Alfred Lion's label-launching first recording session, in late 1939: Boogie Woogie Stomp, Boogie Woogie Blues, Bass Goin' Crazy, Chicago in Mind, Suitcase Blues, and a duet with Meade Lux Lewis, Twos and Fews.

Nice Paul Bacon drawing on the jacket cover too.
