Suffice it to say that Keith Johnson once again captured the true glory of music with this record. So well, in fact, not one hi-fi magazine in the States had anything to say but "Wow!"
Fact is, among the audiophiles I know, the reviewers I have read, and the music lovers by the score who just sit there listening with their jaws dropped, this record has been deemed by some the finest harpsichord recording ever, and they are right (though one very fine other, very, very rare release, gives it a contest, I tell you).
Capturing the transient/tonal nature of a harpsichord is a merciless enterprise, as oftentimes the quality of the middle registers sound more like shaking bricks, rather than delicate, colorful hammer strikes and string tone.
A marvelous record of Mr. Fuller, who, by the way, was the very first to record the entire keyboard catalog of Jean-Phillipe Rameau. (And what lovely, melodic music, it is.)
A fine prize in vinyl literature, here in a jacket without fault, record inside is near mint.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
