Please contact us within 3 business days after the auction closes and let me know your shipping address, method of payment and your timing. If we do not hear from you within 7 calendar days of the auction closing date we will consider you non-responsive and eBay will be contacted for full refund of the transaction fees (along with the any other actions they may take).

Acceptable Bidders: Prior to bidding please contact me first if you have less than a 5 positive feedback score. We will not accept bids from people with a negative feedback score (ie. Less than zero.) We reserve the right to cancel any transactions.

I am sorry but local pickup cannot be arranged.

SHIPPING/HANDLING:

Canada Post handles all shipping unless otherwise requested. Shipping costs of our items vary according to weight, value, where it's being mailed, method of delivery and any other extra services that you need. Weight will vary depending on whether it's a gatefold, heavy vinyl, double/triple LP, number of inserts, available packaging, etc. I have provided the below listed chart as a guideline.

Please be advised that Canada Post has increased postage rates effective January 16, 2006. Also the continued drop in the value of the US $ has forced me to raise my shipping prices.

FINAL SHIPPING PRICE FOR MULTIPLE ITEMS, IN GREATER QUANTITIES THAN INDICATED ON THE CHART LISTED BELOW, WILL BE QUOTED DEPENDING ON THE DESTINATION, THE TOTAL COST, INSURANCE AND THE WEIGHT OF THE ITEMS WON PLUS HANDLING/PACKAGING COSTS.

If paying by Paypal and the accumulated auction bid totals go over USD$85.00 (approx. CAD$100.00), then the winner must pay applicable postage/ insurance costs of the LPs (see Table 1). If you are paying by some other method then this does not apply and tracking/insurance is your choice and your risk. See the Tables below.

I truly apologize for the high postage rates from Canada Post, particularly for a single LP that is a gatefold or has heavy vinyl. It does not take much for an LP, with sufficient packaging to go over 500 grams. When this happens, it almost doubles the airmail costs. I have indicated theweight code for each auction; so please make sure you read and understand the postage chart below and all terms & conditions very carefully before you bid.

I have endeavoured to be as accurate and as fair as possible. Please do not tell me, after you have won the auction, how much it costs to ship from the U.S.; or some other low (perhaps) postage country because it does not mean a thing in Canada. One good thing, though, is that the service is fairly reliable and any international shipments are automatically covered with insurance for up to US$85.00 (approx. CAD$100.00.) Of course to claim; we must declare full value of the shipment in CAD$, up to a maximum of CAD$100.00.

Also note that Canada Post does not provide for shipment tracking with the US/International small packet rates indicated below. Further, any claims, using the small packet service, are on the honour system and can take up to 3 or 4 months to be resolved.

Prices include packaging costs, which include 2 corrugated stiffeners, bubble pack and plenty of tape for secure delivery to your destination. LPs are removed from sleeves to reduce chance of damage.

MANDATORY: FULL CUSTOMS DECLARATION

INSURANCE, DECLARATIONS, PROOF OF DELIVERY, CLAIMS, ETC (THE TYPICAL PROBLEM STUFF)

Proof of delivery (trackable) postal shipments are not available for small packet deliveries (see the above ship references #001 thru #013, table 1).

All items are sent by Canada Post and are packaged securely in padded containers reinforced by corrugated stiffeners. We cannot be held responsible for any delayed, lost or damaged packages being delivered by Canada Post and/or your country's mail service unless the package has a tracking/reference number. Please note, for shipment to other than Canadian locations tracking means that all packages must have the full value indicated on the customs declaration form.

For auctions totalling more than US$85.00 and you are paying by Paypal, it is compulsory that a trackable postal service (see the above ship references #014 thru #031, table 2) be used so that we both can track the shipment and also allow for full insurance coverage in case a package goes missing (rare but does happen) and as a result, we must initiate an insurance claim; otherwise Canada Post will not take responsibility for the problem. If you are paying by Money Order or Cash then this does not apply and you can arrange the postal service by whatever method you prefer (your risk).

Also, for packages sent to apartments and to addresses where packages may be left in common areas, it is very strongly suggested that you use a trackable postal service.

A further note regarding shipping; we will make sure that we send out the correct item, in the stated condition, in the most secure packaging, however please be advised that we cannot be held responsible for damage in shipment, however it has happened, unless you arrange for full insurance coverage with a trackable postage service from Canada Post (see table 2 above).

*Note: For all auctions where you pay by Paypal; we must declare the full value of the shipment (no matter the value), including postage!!! We cannot accept the risk that there is a mail problem (loss, theft, damage or unacceptable delay) and not be covered completely by insurance. We would also expect you to assist in communications with Canada Post confirming the problem and assisting with the claim.

METHODS OF PAYMENT:

Paypal is greatly preferred because it is easy and simple but it is not without risk to the seller (see shipping information in the 2 charts above regarding high value auctions and any payment by Paypal).

Also accepted IMO's in US$ or CAD$ only, US/Cdn cash by registered/regular mail (your risk) or a check drawn on a U.S. or Canadian bank (must wait 7 to 10 business days to clear). Canadian customers can pay exchange at time of auction closing. Payment by any other method may delay shipment until fully processed.

We will only combine purchases for 2 consecutive weeks of auctions or 15 items maximum. Please let us know that you will be bidding on the upcoming auction.

REFUINDS:

All sales are final. Returns are possible but you must contact us and explain the problem. We will then authorize the return. Any refunds will be processed once we the item is returned and we have determined that it is in the same condition as was sent. We can also consider an exchange if an equivalent item can be determined. Postage is not refundable.

Statements like you don't like the music, or I made a mistake are not acceptable reasons for return. If you cannot determine that this is the item you want, before the auction closes, then DO NOT BID!!!

IF YOU ARE GOING TO BID, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THIS IS THE ITEM YOU WANT - BEFORE THE AUCTION CLOSES!!!

Items are checked visually because I just do not have time to listen to every LP completely, however we will endeavour to be as accurate as possible. Please see my eBay me page for grading details.

This is a note to those that may not feel like honouring their eBay bids. Payment is expected within 7 days from North America and 15 days from elsewhere. If you have trouble meeting this timeframe, please contact me and I'm sure we can work it out. If, however, you ignore your obligation to pay then I will officially ask eBay for a refund on my fees and you can expect negative feedback (I hate to do this but I believe it is the only way the eBay community can thrive & be kept accountable).
