- NM = NearMint > NO DEFECT
- EX- or EX = Excellent > ALMOST PERFECT
- VG++ = VeryGood++ > FEW VISIBLE MARKS which affect the sound quality very little
- VG+ = Very Good+ > FEW VISIBLE MARKS which slightly affect the sound quality
- VG = Very Good > SEVERAL VISIBLE MARKINGS that can sometimes affect the sound quality
