Description
Very rare First UK Pressing of The Bends from 1995. I bought it new in the first week of issue from the world famous Spillers in Cardiff. (The oldest record shop in the world.) It still has the original price sticker on it. Very well looked after in a pet free, smoke free home. Stored in Nagaoka record sleeve. It’s coming up to the 30th anniversary of this album on March 13th, so a chance to get in early with a bit of history, and some great songs. High and Dry, Fake Plastic Trees, and their hint at their future sound Street Spirit (fade out). Plays beautifully. Record buyers guide would class this as Excellent Condition. (The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.) See photos for corners, but it is almost 30 years old. It has all of the correct attributes of the first UK pressing - NO 0% bottom left of inner sleeve, red pound symbol in the black circle on labels. Play out grooves, A ‘she’s out with her answerphone’ and B (nice dream). It will be packaged in a purpose made cardboard envelope. Selling as it doesn’t get played. Hopefully in its new home it will get played, it’s a great album. Could be quite an impressive Valentines gift ;-) Happy Bidding.
