I sold a number of LPs from my personal collection 8 years ago and have decided to sell another batch as l seldom listen to this format any more. I mention this to give buyers confidence that l’ve done this before. However, l am not a dealer, so do not feel confident in grading, which l regard as somewhat subjective.
I purchased a Linn turntable in 1985 and collected a number of records over the next 10 years or so while the format was going out of fashion and record stores were closing. The majority of my collection is classical music, but l also bought some jazz, blues and ‘rock’.
I have looked after my records and the majority that l’m selling have been played very few times, but l will highlight any that have been played a lot. In other words you will get an honest and accurate assessment backed up by my photographs, but if you are not entirely happy l will accept returns.
There is a 1 cm tear to the front cover of the sleeve that l have highlighted and some pops and clicks on the vinyl, but nothing major for a record that l’ve played many times in the past, but rarely in the past 15 years or so. This is the 1995 version with ‘red pound’ etc. but please contact me if you have any questions.
