Audio Assessment: Plays Well - Decently / Loud & Clear / A Little Bit Of Surface Noise Here & There - Small Fractions - The Most Notable Being A Small Tick Beginning At The End Of Side 1 Track 1 - ‘Planet Telex’ Into The Transition & Initial Grooves Of Track 2 - ‘The Bends’ - Hardly Dramatic - But Noticeable To Those Looking For Flaws
Physical Assessment: Nice - Decent / Clean / A Middling Amount Of Hairlines & Scuffs / A Shallow Fingernail On A-Side Which Has Been Toothpicked To Lessen A Small Tick
Label Assessment: Nice - Decent / Clean & Legible / A Few Translucent Spindle Lines
Sleeve Assessment: Inner Sleeve: *Original 1st Press Inner - With No Pixelated ‘0%’ On The Bottom Left Corner Of The Lyric Side*/ Nice / Clean & Glossy / Minor Handling & Use Flaws - Outer Sleeve: Nice - Decent / Clean / A Bit Of Edge & Corner Wear / Some Little Scuffs, Wear & Impression Marks / A Couple Light Card Stresses
Overall: Both The Vinyl & The Sleeve Sit Right On The Boundary Between VG+ & VG - A Few Too Many Flaws To Be VG+ But Too Nice To Be VG - It’s A Bit Of A Conundrum. Due To The Large Price Tag On This However, I Have Decided To Be Conservative In My Grading - I Do Not Wish There To Be Any Misunderstanding On This Record - I Have Therefore Graded Both At VG - However, It Is Assuredly Better Than Standard VG Grading On Both Fronts - But I Must Stop Short At Calling Either VG+
