Description
This is a very rare UK 1997 pressing of OK Computer.
Only the first and second pressings were from the original masters. Later pressings of this album are famously muddy-sounding. As fun as the recent re-master is, it's nothing like this. It's like sitting in the studio with them.

I've included a picture of the hand-etched messages around the inner edge of the LP, along with the separate machine-stamped 'D' that's on each LP.
The separation in the instruments is jawdropping. Climbing Up the Walls has to be heard to be believed. The recent re-master is good, but frankly, this is the version of OK Computer that counts. I couldn't believe the subtle differences between this and what I'd been listening to on CD for years.
As you can see from the photos there is slight scuffing on the sleeve but no tears at all. The sleeve condition is average/good, purely because of the slight scuffs, and they really are slight. Labels are immaculate. The one shown is representative of all four sides.
The two LPs are in good/very good+ condition. No skipping and no scratches on the playing surface, just one or two very light scuffs that don't affect playback. Some very light surface noise and only at near-silent parts of the record. Some v light spindle marks on inner that don't affect playback. The price reflects this.
