This is my personal copy of the Radiohead - In Rainbows boxset, which has been very well looked after since I purchased it direct on release.

Overall my copy is near mint condition. Played only a handful of times at most. I’ve photographed what minor scuffs/dents there are with a 5p piece as reference for their size.

The External box is almost completely mint condition, with only the tiniest of marks visible near the corners. It’s a very sturdy box, so it’s lasted very well indeed.

The Internal Gatefold section is near mint, being incredibly well protected in the External box. There’s some light ‘slide’ marks to the paper where it’s been taken in/out of the External box, but nothing major.

The vinyl itself is completely mint, with no scratches on the vinyl at all.

The two CDs that came with the release show the most wear, with CD1 having some moderate scuffing to one side of the outer edge. I haven’t tried playing it in years, and no longer own a CD player to test, but I find it highly unlikely that it’d cause skipping. CD2 on the other hand has a near mint playing surface, but a minor scuff to the printed surface on the front. Both of these photographed for reference.

The only other thing - because of the way they decided to secure the CDs into the presentation box, sometimes CD2 likes to fall out of it’s housing. It’s always done this, since day one. They used these little black foam circles to hold the CDs, which are pretty lame in hindsight. Other than that a pretty exceptional and groundbreaking bit of packaging and art/design!
