Description
Rush has always been one of the world's best loved and most respected rock bands. These Canadians have maintained the exact same three band members, with the exception of the first album, whose drummer, John Rutsey, had to leave for health reasons. (RIP John. You were the spark that lit the fire that became RUSH!) By album no. 2 ('Fly by Night') through the last studio album ('Clockwork Angels'), and EVERY live album as well, drummer Neil Peart has been a part of that amazing trio, along with Geddy Lee, and Alex Lifeson.
Rush has some of the best fans in the world, including myself! I have seen them at least a couple of dozen times, and each time I was blown away. Besides sounding oh so good in concert, they actually look like they're having fun. And that good time attitude is very contagious! The fans also LOVE to collect Rush memorabilia. So, with that in mind, we have today, for your consideration, a sweet Rush picture disc! Made in Japan, as our friends in the Far East love western music and pop culture. This beauty comes with a discography backing card, and an obi strip, that tucks the record neatly inside! Of course, something this awesome deserves to be put in a frame, and hung on a wall of a man (or woman) cave, a music room wall, dorm room, living room...well, you get the picture!
But wait! There's more! Lol I'll also kick in the special 40th anniversary of the hit single "Closer to the Heart", on the A side, with "Madrigal" on the B side! This, of course, is from that Rush masterpiece 'A Farewell to Kings'! Bought new, it comes in its special jacket, and has never been played! And one more thing...also included is a very cool 7" record adapter! So, you get that too! (Tried to take a good clear pic of it, but because the writing is small, the pic looks terrible. Sorry! Lol) These Japanese import Rush picture discs don't pop up very often here on Ebay. And good luck trying to find them through other sources! As I'm writing this, there is not ONE other like it up for sale OR bid, here on Ebay. Grab some rare and cool Rush picture disc memorabilia, as your chance to doesn't come around too often!!
Vinyl looks mint, and more than likely has never been played! (I never play picture discs.) The backing card looks great, as well, with no tears, folds, or holes. An awesome piece of rare Rush memorabilia to have, so grab this one while you still can!
