Description
Here is Rush's fabled first record! If you are a true Rush fan, you will know exactly what this is!! These 45's are very rare and sought after, no doubt the rarest record in the Rush catalogue. It is a 100% authentic first Canadian pressing, MN-001 from 1973 on there own label, Moon Records. The matrix and catalogue numbers are the same and etched into the deadwax.
Now for the good news! This record was unplayed and came from a lot of old store stock I purchased. It is in superb condition!! Labels and record, I doubt there is a better example on the planet!! I played each side just once to confirm the sound quality and it was absolutely amazing. I included a picture of my system to assure you that it was played on a quality turntable.
The sleeve that accompanies the record is also the original sleeve as confirmed by the blue strip on the bottom. It is in VG+ with a few light wrinkles and small snags.
From what I can research on the net, there were only about a thousand copies made of this 45 for promo purposes. The songs themselves never made it to any of the bands albums.
