Description
Up for auction is a nice original copy of the Rush album "Moving Pictures" originally released in the U.S. on Mercury Records (SRM 4013) in 1981.
-Guaranteed original pressing
-MASTERDISK stamp in deadwax
-RL Robert Ludwig etched in deadwax
-Still in opened factory shrink wrap
-Original inner sleeve
-No UPC/bar code on cover
Note:
These original covers for Moving Pictures were unusually thin, and very prone to wear. Thus it is very difficult to find an original that doesn't show significant wear. This copy has held up nicely, and it is very hard to find it in this well-preserved condition.
Condition:
Cover is very nice, still in original shrink wrap. Two top corners show some light rubbing (see photos), but other than that, the cover looks great. Shrink is mostly intact, but the two top corners show some small tears and losses (see photos). Very nice original. Grade: Excellent (EX).
Vinyl is very nice, still has its original shine. No apparent scratches or scuffs, just some light superficial small hairlines from having been taken out of inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean, unmarked. Maybe played a couple times but handled with care. Grade: Excellent (EX).
