Canadian trio Rush see their sole covers project, Feedback, return on 12" EP for the Start Your Ear Off Right '26 run, a chance to revisit the brisk detour they took in 2004 celebrating 30 years together. Not to gloat their prog credentials, they would instead reinvest the garage-rock and proto-psych staples they'd grown up with, tearing through Buffalo Springfield, The Who, The Yardbirds and Love, plus a barbed take on that Faustian artefact by none other than blues griot Robert Johnson, 'Crossroad', restyled as 'Crossroads' here. Heard in context, it's like a time-travelling postcard from the band's formative listening years, their labyrinthine later work rooted in teenage obsessions with fuzzoff riffs and edgy rhythm sections.
