Payment | Shipping RUSH 2112 UNIQUE ONE OF A KIND 1976 METAL ACETATE!!!
On Offer is a unique and most likely only existing copy of the Metal Acetate cut for their "2112" LP released in 1976.
Pressed by the UNIVERSAL Recording Corp. In Chicago with machine typed Labels. I have not compared this Metal Acetate with the commercial release but according to the track lenghts listed on the Label there seem to be slight variations/differences.
"Grand Finale" on Side one appears to be 4 seconds longer than on the regular release clocking in at 2 minutes 18 seconds. "Soliloquy" is also 2 seconds longer and "Presentation" 2 seconds shorter.
On the B Side all tracks appear to be 2 to 3 seconds shorter than on the commercial release. Please click on the pictures to "Supersize" them and view the exact song lenghts listed.
Metal Acetates are of course extremely fragile and usually in terrible condition but this one is in outstanding shape and looks to have been barely played or handled.
Side A is visually in EX condition with 2 surface hairlines, while Side B looks to be in M- condition! I carefully played the entire LP once and the sound quality is great with very little background noise detectable.
Due to the fragile nature of this Acetate it will only be mailed double boxed by Fully Insured Priority Mail or Express Mail overseas which will incur some extra charges for postage. Exact Postage will be quoted once I know winning bidders location.
