Description
Up for auction is a nice, original copy of the Rush album "2112" originally released in the U.S. on Mercury Records (SRM-1-1079) in 1976.
-Guaranteed original pressing
-MASTERDISK stamp in deadwax
-HW Howie Weinberg mastering in deadwax
-Original gatefold cover
-No UPC/bar code on cover
-NOT a Record Club pressing, like many on eBay
Cover still looks nice with only light signs of wear. Very light ring rubbing top and bottom middle front and back. Seams are nice, no splits, just some light rub here and there to the edges. Corner look good, light rub. Interior looks clean, light rubbing.
Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Vinyl is also very nice, still has its original shine. No significant scratches or scuffs, but under a strong light, you can see a couple very faint, superficial hairlines--probably from taking the vinyl out of inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes. Looks like it's been played maybe a couple times, but handled with care. Nicely preserved original.
