Aussie melodic dance-pop outfit RUFUS DUL SOL'S debut album was originally released in 2013 and finds new life with this reissue, which shows why the Sydney group became such a global house phenomenon. From the dreamy falsetto and layered synths of 'Sundream' to the dancefloor-ready energy of 'Take M' and 'Tonight', the record balances catchy hooks with deep, atmospheric production. Funky detours like 'Modest Life' and chilled gems like 'Desert Night' show their range, while tracks like 'Imaginary Air' close on expansive, cinematic notes. Self-produced and unmistakably theirs, Atlas remains a timeless blueprint of electro-pop-infused house with a lovely sun-soaked Australian glow.
