Beautiful example of NMEs compendium of artists performing a wide variety of songs from 1992 (see track artist/track list below). Item itself is practically mint. The box is sturdy and still vividly red in colour. Slight crease to base of box on r/h side but small and barely noticeable (see pic). Similarly a little crease on the edge of the lid caused during manufacturing but again, goes unnoticed (see pic). The three harder cardboard sleeves are mint. The thinner record sleeves each have a 3-4cm slit in the side where the vinyl has worn into it (see pic). It is on the same spot of each. In each case the front and back of the sleeves are again in mint condition and in fact the slits, because they are on the very edge of each sleeve, do not show except when you turn it to one side. The only further thing to note is that one of the thin inner record sleeves is slightly creased at the opening (see pic). When I bought this box set in 1992 and paid £20 for it (receipt included!) I barely remember playing it, in fact some sides might well have been left unplayed as I was only interested in certain artists. In other words, the vinyl is mint also. Overall, this is a very rare and very beautiful example of NMEs Ruby Trax box set which has been in storage for many years and needs to go to a new home where someone will appreciate it. I've copied the artist/track list for you for info. It will be posted out in a proper record mailer 1st class and signed for via Royal Mail to ensure it gets to its new owner in one piece.
