Description

This is an auction for a rare LP by, Roy Harper, Stormcock.

This was released by Harvest Records in 1971 and has catalogue number SHVL789. This is the 1st press and is stereo. Please check the pictures for clarification.

Condition: The textured gatefold sleeve comes in fine condition with light buffing to the very corners and bottom and mouth edge and a few tiny creases. There are also some dust/dirt marks that will clean. Spine Ex, no tears, bends, centre ex, no discolouring, this still creaks when opened and is graded at Near Mint. Please check the pics a fine sleeve.

This come with its original patent inner that is in fine condition.

Both labels look clean and new, Under a strong light some tiny spider spindle trails can be seen on each side. The centre hole is perfect and shows no signs of wear.

The vinyl retains its brand new shine and looks immaculate in normal light. Under the closest of examinations a few feather/hairline scratches can be seen. I have given this a test play and it sounds as good as it looks. The above mentioned scratches are completely non-audible and as stated only seen under a very strong light. This plays with very little, if any, lessening in sound quality and certainly does not suffer any reduction due to wear despite being played slightly more than a few times. The music itself plays strong and clear with no distortion, fading or dragging heard whatsoever. Quiet breaks and entries.

Ok this I will grade at an ultra conservative VG+, despite playing and looking a comfortable near mint. Down-graded because its been played slightly more than a few times and does have a few feather scratches. The best VG+ you will ever buy with no doubt some traders putting this at mint because of its audio and appearance.
