Another from my personal collection, purchased from new in 1973 original only played to record to tape and then stored in a case with the vinyl seperated from the sleeve and cover for protection. This is how I have always stored my records! This mega early original early UK pressing boast of being as very near as pristine condition throughout! A true archive copy! Also the most important thing is the audio will blow you away absolutely stunning seperation throughout and a true bassey feel only found like this on the early pressings on the original pink rimed Island labels , cristal clear and very vibrant plays as new without any clicks,pops,ticks or crackle. The best that you can get in my personal opinion. This album in my opinion is a keeper, you will never need to upgrade!!

Stranded is the third album by art rock band Roxy Music, and was released late 1973, reaching number one on the UK album charts. The cover features Ferry's girlfriend and 1973's Playmate of the Year, Marilyn Cole.

 It was the first Roxy Music album on which Bryan Ferry was not the sole songwriter, because Andy Mackay and guitarist Phil Manzanera also contributed to the album. It was also the first without Brian Eno, who had left the group!!!

 Very 1st UK pressing rarely seen in this beautiful condition A-1 B-1 MATRIX!!!!!

The vinyl

The 1st thing to note! is that this is a mega thick and heavy original type of vinyl! Later press are much mor flimsier and less robust! The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable! and looks absolutely stunning!!

This looks near pristine! It is hard for me to see any marks at all! In fact this has hardly ever been played at all! Perhapes a handfull of times by me personaly only! This has been stored in a case for the best part of 25 years! Any marks that could possibly be seen under a strong light would be sleeve removal marks only!!THE AUDIO IS TRULLY AWESOME YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER SOUINDING UK PRESS COPY! TOP! TOP! AUDIO ON ALL FREQUENCIES!!!! (no) clicks pops or any grooveware what so ever!!!!! NEVER NEED TO UPGRADE FROM THIS VINYL!!!!!

please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the light static crackle here and there (not) consistant throughout the audio! This is a genuine 36 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 36 year old system!!

This vinyl has been stored in a case for the best part of 25 years and could benefit from a constant clean before each play! This would greatly reduce any static crackle and greatly enhance the audio quality!!!

This is the original and more desirable FULLY LAMINATED 'TINSLEY ROBOR GROUP' GATEFOLD COVER! In exceptional very  NEAR PRISTINE condition for a 1st press super glossy (NO) real storageware to mention! Any slight signs of ringware at the rear only in the laminate can only be seen angled in the light (very very slight only! The corners are lovely and sharp Amaizingly (no) real creases at all, just very minor in the laminate only! SUPERBE 1ST PRESS COVER!! NEAR MINT!! BEST THAT YOU WILL FIND AFTER 35 YEARS!!!!!!!!!
