Rowland S. Howard - Teenage Snuff Film
Rare collectors item, Near Mint condition.
2011 Liberation Music Re-Issue.
'Teenage Snuff Film' was the long awaited first solo album recorded and released by Rowland S.Howard in 1999. Rowland recorded the album at the Birdland & Sing Sing recording studios in Melbourne with longtime colleague and collaborator Mick Harvey contributing drums, organ and guitar and Brian Hooper on bass. The album was produced by Lindsay Gravina and engineered by James Mason & Jade Martin, and released to critical acclaim both here in Australia and internationally. The first CD release of 'Teenage Snuff Film' was through Bruce Milne's label Reliant Records and was subsequently released as a very limited edition vinyl through a small local Melbourne label 'Radio One' on both clear and black vinyl. This edition featured a bonus track 'Shut Me Down', which was later re-recorded and released on Rowland's final recording 'Pop Crimes', released through the Liberation label in 2009. 'Teenage Snuff Film' featured 8 original songs; 'Dead Radio', 'Breakdown (and then...)', 'I Burnt Your Clothes', 'Exit Everything', 'Silver Chain', 'Undone', 'Autoluminescent', 'Sleep Alone' and 2 cover versions; 'White Wedding' (Billy Idol) and 'She Cried' (The Shangri-Las). In 2011 Liberation Music releasde a limited edition double vinyl set (500 copies only) of the long out of print 'Teenage Snuff Film'. Original bonus track 'Shut Me Down' were replaced on the new edition with "Ocean", the Velvet Underground classic recorded by Rowland with the Devastations and previously only available on 7" vinyl.

M- Very minimal marking if any.
EX Excellent condition, little wear.
VG+ Minor marking, quite acceptable.
VG Marking and signs of wear
but still acceptable.
G Very marked and getting beat up at this stage.
POOR Very badly marked, lots of scratches and may even skip on some players. Will do until a better copy comes along.
