ROSTROPOVICH / RICHTER –BEETHOVEN –PHILIPS SAL 3453/4
1963 Philips boxed set of 2-LPs with maroon/silver "Hi-Fi" stereo labels, catalogue numbers SAL 3453/4 (835 182/3 AY). Mstislav Rostropovich (cello) and Sviatoslav Richter (piano) playing the complete sonatas for piano & cello by Beethoven.
The 2 discs are in a really excellent condition but there are some very faint inaudible marks on side 2 of the second disc. The 12-page illustrated booklet is near mint. The box is internally very clean but very scruffy externally with split corners and damaged edges.
