Description
THE YEAR OF ROOSEVELT FRANKLIN - "Gordon's Friend From Sesame Street" 1970 LP on Columbia Records C 30387
One of the Holy Grail of Kid's Records, this LP has it all!! Breaks, Sample Bits, Five or Six Solid Funk Tracks, some groovy Soul vibes, and for those of us old enough to remember, the Nostalgia of singing along to this as a child!!Featuring the voices of Matt Robinson and Rosalind Cash, with Mary Frances, Baby Ray, Mother, Mobity Mosely, A. B. Cito, and the kids singing: 1. Roosevelt Franklin Counts, 2. Days of the Week, 3. Mobity Mosely's Months, 4. Keep On Trying, 5. Just Because, 6. The Safety Boy Blues, 7. Old King Midas, 8. The Skin I'm In, 9. A Bear Eats Bear Food, 10. Halfsies, 11. Me and You, and 12. Roosevelt Franklin's Alphabet.
Vinyl has maybe a paper scuff or two, but is super glossy otherwise and kept barely played unlike most copies that turn up! Tough to get in this condition!
