Description
RONNIE LAWS - "Friends & Strangers" LP
Click Image to Enlarge I'm offering the test pressing record album "Friends & Strangers" by Ronnie Laws released in 1977 by United Artists' Blue Note Records. The third album by this American saxophonist. #BN-LA730. 33rpm 12" record. In stereo. I've owned this since it came out and have never played it. I worked in the entertainment business here in Hollywood and got a lot of records for free. Sometimes duplicates. It's in mint condition. Original all black jacket and white sleeve are in very good condition. Combine auctions and save on shipping. This next imagae is a close-up of the label. It's not textured, that's simply the reflection off the stucco wall taken outside because taking a picture of a blue label with a flash gets nothing. Ronald Wayne "Ronnie" Laws (born October 3, 1950, Houston, Texas) is an American jazz, rhythm and blues and funk saxophonist. He is the younger brother of jazz flautist Hubert Laws and the older brother of Debra Laws. In 1972, Laws joined the fledgling group Earth, Wind & Fire, playing saxophone and flute on their album "Last Days and Time." Apart from playing saxophone, Laws also sings. Notable vocals include "Every Generation" (1980), "Stay Awake" (1981, included on the album Solid Ground) and "Mr. Nice Guy" (1982). © Wikipedia
