Note : musiche di Romolo Grano, arrangiamenti e direzione orchestrale di Berto Pisano. La forza drammatica della natura e l'umana angoscia ben descritte da otto composizioni prevalentemente caratterizzate da atmosfere e temi malinconici e cupi. Tra i brani : " FIUME DI MARE " esaltata da un bel vocalizzo femminile, " DRAMMA SUL LATIFONDO " con atmosfere ricche di tensione scandite dal moog e dalle note di un pianoforte con eco e riverbero, " TEMA DELL'EDERA I " una composizione di struttura sinfonica ma con alcune deviazioni sperimentali e la presenza di splendidi vocalizzi femminili.
Notes : music Romolo Grano, arrangements and orchestra Berto Pisano. Nature's dramatic force and human distress well reflected in eight tracks mainly based on gloomy and restless themes. Among the tunes : " FIUME DI MARE " underlined by an excellent female wordless vocalism, " DRAMMA SUL LATIFONDO " rich of suspense atmospheres beaten by moog and piano with echo and re-echo, " TEMA DELL'EDERA I " a symphonic composition with some experimental improvisation and the presence of splendid female wordless vocalisms.
Tratto dall'omonimo romanzo di Grazia Deledda, uno sceneggiato televisivo trasmesso dalla RAI in tre puntate. Regia di Giuseppe Fina, con Ugo Pagliai, Armando Bandini, Cinzia De Carolis, Fosco Giachetti e Nicoletta Rizzi.
