Description

TITLE/ARTIST: Welcome to rogersrecords---your Ebay site for great condition/collectible records from the 1950's-60's, and much more. I will be listing rare 45's/PS's by Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and others very soon, so please bookmark this site and check in from time to time. This extremely rare and very early Rolling Stones 45/PS combination (with Brian Jones pic even) is on the original, purple/white London Label, and is entitled "Not Fade Away/I Wanna Be Your Man", from 1964. The 45 is hard enough to find, but this picture sleeve is just about impossible to locate anymore, espiecally in decent condition---which this one is---so please have at it. In my opinion, both the vinyl and picture sleeve are in excellent overall shape, but please view the pics below, read about the record's condition, and judge for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original, purple/white London Label, 9657, shows no signs of any abnormal wear (not even any visible spindle lines around the center hole), and in my opinion, is in great overall shape. A previous owner did stamp his name neatly and lightly at the top of the A-Side only, and it could easily be removed. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is super shiny, clean and nice, and in my opinion, almost perfect. There are perhaps a couple very, very light surface/paper lines on each side, but nothing all that serious, believe me. PICTURE SLEEVE INFO: This picture sleeve is everything and it even has the original price stamped on the one side---$.67!! This sleeve is also in super nice overall shape with just a couple quite minor flaws worthy of mentioning here. There is a small staple hole in the top right corner, and some very early signs of light ringwear in the darker areas of each side (but, please check it out in the pics below). Otherwise, in my opinion, the sleeve is in great shape and nearly perfect. But again, please view the pictures below and judge all of this for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see this original and early Rolling Stones' 45/PS out there anymore, espiecally in this kind of nice condition. So, please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---other 45's/PS's/EP's and LP's by 50-60's artists, even some rare C&W and Soundtrack stuff, too. I am slowly selling off my very treasured personal collection, and there are many LPs, EPs and 45's to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed LPs and EPs are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in very nice shape (in fact, most are near mint). So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! When attempting to view my pictures, please be a little patient as they do take a few seconds to fully focus---but they do come in. And, if anyone ever needs more info/pics than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $3.00 for the first 45 purchased, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---and it is also cheaper to sent multiple pieces overseas. I accept payments by way of money orders, good checks, and/or PAYPAL. Please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come!
