Description
This is the original UK LP by the ROLLING STONES, Self-Titled 1964 Mono 1st UK LP, MEGA RARE 1st Pressing, thats plays the 2.52 version of "Tell Me". Matix numbers are, SIDE 1:- XARL-6271-2A, SIDE 2:- XARL-6272-1A, stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 1 / H, SIDE 2:- 1 / H.
The original 1964 UK 1st issue non-flipback cover is in VG condition, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact and perfectly readable, the back has some ageing to it and the front has various small lamination creasing and two small area's of lamination bubbling.
The vinyl is in VG- (Minus) condition, and is worn, I have played both sides and considering the visually condition, the vinyl plays very well, playing with crisp clear clarity, there is some crackle to be heard in the quiet sections, their are some clicks to "Honest I do" on side 1, at the start, their is no sticking or jumping, plays through perfectly, the crackle is not too audioable intrusive and doesnt spoil the enjoyment of listening to this RARE 1st Pressing. The 2.52 verison of "Tell Me", plays superbly with only a hint of crackle. My discription of how the vinyl plays doesn't make good reading, but I must stress that this 1st Pressing is of the highest quality and is very listenable.
The label's are in VG+ condition, there is no unwanted writing, there is a small scuff on side 2, and spindal hoile shows some wear, the label's maintain their bright vibrant red colour.
The vinyl is housed in it's original UK Decca inner sleeve and in EX condition, lovely and clean, showing a little ageing, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
Altogether a MEGA RARE original 1964 1st UK by the ROLLING STONES, Self-Titled, iwth the 2.52 verison of "Tell Me", a well played vinyl, but plays very well, a quality pressing.
