Description

ROLLING STONES - Their Satanic Majesties Request (1967 UK Mono) ## TRUE 1P/P1 FIRST PRESS – PLAY-GRADED MINT/M-

Up for auction is an absolute holy grail for Rolling Stones audiophiles: an authentic, 1967 UK first-press mono copy of 'Their Satanic Majesties Request'

This is NOT the later T2 fold-down. This is the genuine, dedicated mono mix cut directly from the first master lacquers by Decca engineer George Bettynes. It has been meticulously preserved in an archival collection for the last four years and play-grades flawlessly.

TRUE MONO MIX via Track B2 ("The Lantern")—features the correct THREE distinct bell tolls at the track intro (Later quiet pressings only have two).

Runouts: ARL-8126-1P / ARL-8127-P1. Very early pressing with mother marks 2B on both sides, with C/H stamper letters.

### 📦 ARCHIVAL STORAGE & SHIPPING:This record has been treated with museum-grade care. To preserve the vinyl, it is housed in a modern, anti-static, archival poly-lined sleeve. The fragile, original red-and-white psychedelic inner paper sleeve is kept safely empty inside the jacket pocket to avoid split seams or chemical off-gassing.

The record will be shipped OUTSIDE of the jacket to avoid seam splits during transit. It will be packed in heavy-duty cardboard with extra stiffeners. Fully insured shipping with tracking.
