This listing is for a copy of THEIR SATANIC MAJESTY'S REQUEST by the Rolling Stones with the original psychedelic 3-D cover. This record came out in 1967 a few months after the release of the Beatles Sgt Pepper LP, which totally blew everyone's mind. I'll never forget the afternoon we first listened to Sgt Pepper, the first day it was in the record stores. We got the Satanic lp the first day, too, and rushed over to a friend's pad who had a great stereo. We were really disappointed with the music. I didn't come close to Sgt Pepper, and I still think it's one of the Stones' worst LPs. This original cover is one of the greatest covers ever conceived, in my opinion, It ranks right up there with the zipper cover. I AM LISTING A FEW GOOD STONES LPS TODAY. The vinyl is very good + and the cover is vg. Both corners of the spine have light scuffing, when closed the upper right corners are scuffed and bumped a bit, light ring wear on back and just a tad on the front, and a one inch split the lower right corner. The original red inner sleeve has a three inch split lower seam. Plays well with light background noise. This is a critical description of a pretty good copy. All items are mailed USPS Media Mail the day after sale. Items sold on Friday or on weekends are mailed on Monday. LPs are sandwiched between two layers of corrugated cardboard, and the LP is in a sealed sleeve as wall. I have other collectible LPs listed on eBay.
