Description
a first pressing of the rare 7 inch single "Sympathy for the devil/ Prodigal son" by the ROLLING STONES as released on Decca 6103 066 in Holland in 1973. The A-side is a unique version (edit) of Sympathy for the devil. The edit was done by Juul Geleick of Radio Veronica (in the 60s and 70s a very popular offshore Dutch radiostation) because the original was too long for airplay. This happened with the OK of the Dutch record company but when the band and DECCA in England found out they were quite upset. Especially about the sleeve with the Veronica ship on it. Once the record actually hit the top 40 the commotion died down. Grading: the record: NEAR MINT condition the cover: nice vg+ condition (previous owner put protective tape on sides which has been removed but left tape residue) Home Help Add to

For your protection and mine ALL orders over EURO 25 to Eastern Europe and South America will be sent by REGISTERED airmail which is EURO 6 extra. For other destinations this applies to orders over EURO 50 .

all items are sent by priority airmail only and expensive orders by trackable priority airmail so they can be traced in case there is problem. Items are shipped once a week. Please understand that the mail can be slow sometimes and once a package is sent I have no control over how long it takes to reach a buyer.
