Description

A rare Spanish pressing of The Rolling Stones masterpiece Sticky Fingers, with the Spanish-only album cover. While the rest of the world released Sticky Fingers in Andy Warhol’s famed cover featuring jeans, a zipper and underwear, censors in Spain under General Franco wouldn’t permit the cover to be used there. They also objected to the song “Sister Morphine”.  As a result, a Spanish-only a version was devised, substituting a live version of Chuck Berry’s “Let It Rock” for “Sister Morphine” and packaged in this unique-to-Spain album cover. The record is in Near Mint/Mint condition, probably only played once. The sleeve has a slight crease (see photos) With the Spanish song title/credit insert.
