Description

1967 London Records NP-2, this is an original US mono pressing - NOT a reissue -- of the classic Rolling Stones LP "Their Satanic Majesties Request".  This pressing has the maroon labels with silver print and a "Promotional Copy" sticker  affixed to the upper right corner of the jacket, just above the 3-D image.  Although not a white label promo ( I can find no documentation that such a copy even exists), this pressing includes the one of a kind promotional letter from the desk of Lenny Meisel, the National Album Promotional Manager at London Records dated November 27, 1967 touting the release as follows: "By far this is their Satanic Majesties greatest album!!!!!".  Letter - and original custom inner sleeve - are both included in excellent condition.  Gatefold jacket is NM, showing no signs of wear.   Vinyl is a shiny  EX-/VG++, with some paper marks and hairlines on either side.  Sound quality is solid, with some minor background crackle at times;  labels are crisp with no spindle wear.   Obviously, the only promotional copy of this LP I have ever come across.  Buyer pays $7.50 shipping in the US, $15.00 airmail overseas.  I accept Paypal & US Postal Money Orders.  Thanks for looking and good luck!
