**  Rare original 1978 UK "SOME GIRLS" vinyl LP by THE ROLLING STONES, with RARE WITHDRAWN INNER SLEEVE, and ORIGINAL DIE-CUT OUTER SLEEVE **

** This LP was originally released in the UK with an inner sleeve depicting various garishly modified images of female actresses/singers/models who had not given permission for their images to be used. The inner sleeve was therefore quickly replaced with these offending images removed. This LP has the original, withdrawn inner sleeve. **

An Excellent- condition disc. Some very fine hairline marks, (which can be seen in a strong light), where the LP has been taken in and out of the cardboard inner sleeve over the years, but otherwise there are very few other  marks, and none which cause any specific audible noise. Some spindle marks, but these can only be seen in a specific light. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, deep scratches, or writing on labels.

Very good sound quality throughout, with only occasional minor surface noise. Very listenable. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Thick card outer sleeve "printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.", in Excellent- condition. It would have been graded as fully Excellent, other than for a few minor spots on the lower left corner of the rear of the sleeve, and  a mark on the inside of the sleeve, which is invisible from the outside (see photos). No seam splits anywhere. No writing anywhere. Minor wear to corners. Spine has some very slight wear, but text  is still mostly  legible.

Rare withdrawn original issue thick card inner sleeve in Excellent condition. No seam splits. No writing anywhere.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
