 **  Rare original 1978 UK "SOME GIRLS" vinyl LP by THE ROLLING STONES, with RARE WITHDRAWN INNER SLEEVE, and ORIGINAL DIE-CUT OUTER SLEEVE **

** This LP was originally released in the UK with an inner sleeve depicting various garishly modified images of female actresses/singers/models who had not given permission for their images to be used. The inner sleeve was therefore quickly replaced with these offending images removed. This LP has the original, withdrawn inner sleeve. **

An Excellent condition disc. Hardly any surface marks. A couple of very light hairline marks only. No spindle marks. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, sticking, scratches, or writing on labels.

Excellent sound quality throughout, with hardly any surface noise at all. Very listenable. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Outer sleeve "printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.", in Excellent condition. No creasing, tears or writing, and very little general wear. No seam splits anywhere. Spine has very little wear, and all text is text  is still clearly legible. No wear to opening edge. 

Rare withdrawn original issue thick card inner sleeve in Very Good condition. No writing anywhere, but there is a 19cm seam split across bottom edge.

 GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
