Rolling Stones/ Their Satanic Majesties Request. London NPS-2. Orig. US 1967 pressing. Gatefold w. 3-d cover is EX; LP is also EX w. minor sleeve lines. Has custom colorful inner sleeve. The Stones' infamous reply to Sgt. Peppers. Most judge it a self-indulgent failure. Oddly, I think it's my favorite Stones LP. Great mellotron passages and exotic percussion from Brian Jones. 2000 Man and Gomper are overlooked monsters.
