Very Rare Original 1969 UK Decca Records Stereo Unboxed Nr Mint 1st Press 'Through The Past Darkly' by The Rolling Stones!!! Mega Rare UK 1st Press Complete with 1st Press Fully Laminated & Die Cut Garrod & Lofthouse Hexagonal Flipback Sleeve and Hexagonal Blue Bordered (Stereo) Inner Sleeve!! In Absolutely STUNNING NR MINT Vinyl Condition!!! You Will Not See Another Cleaner Crisper UK Unboxed Stereo 1st Press!!! Absolutely Stunning and Very Highly Recommended!!!

You are bidding on another essential UK 1st pressing from my mostly Nr Mint UK Psych/Prog collection. You are bidding on a Stunning ORIGINAL 1969 UK Stereo 1st Press of the classic 'Through The Past Darkly' by The Rolling Stones' on 1st Press unboxed Stereo Decca Labels!!! This is one of the hardest of the unboxed UK Rolling Stones records to find. Mainly because the Garrod & Lofthouse 1st press hexagonal sleeve was so fragile. It would always rip at the seam and come apart. This problem was corrected in all later pressings by using a standard square sleeve with the corners blacked to give it a hexagonal pattern!!! However you're bidding on the ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing with the true thickly Laminated 1st press die-cut hexagonal Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve - a very rare record!!! What's more this comes complete with it's original hexagonal inner sleeve!!! These were also very fragile and often became ripped and torn - this one however is not!! All seams are tight and un-torn!!! The vinyl was placed in a standard poly-lined inner sleeve a long tome ago and the delicate 1st press hexagonal sleeve was safely tucked away inside the outer sleeve to prevent and damage - this is how it will come shipped to you!!! A superb example of this rare inner sleeve!! And now we get to the original UK 1st press unboxed Stereo Decca vinyl - and what can I say - it is in stunning Nr Mint condition!!! Absolutely blemish free save for one or possible two almost invisible hairlines!!!! An absolutely essential UK 1st pressing  - don't Miss!!!

The 1st press blue UNBOXED Decca Records Stereo labels are in stunning MINT- condition! They have NO Tears, NO Peeling/Lifting, NO Scribbles, NO unwanted writing of any kind and only the very faintest trace of spindle lines!!! It is clear that this record has been barely played at all! The gramophone rims containing the all important 1st press matrix's are also mint! The cool 1970's thick & chunky 1st press vinyl is in STUNNING visual and aural condition. This record has an unbelievable shine to it - it really looks as if it were pressed yesterday!!!! It has NO Groove wear at all!!!! It shines with that 'just pressed' look'!!!! It is massively rare to find this LP in this kind of condition!!!! There are maybe one or two wispy hairlines that are invisible unless angling the record under strong light and that's it!!! I have no hesitation in grading this vinyl as Nr Mint at the very least! Please remember that our records are not over-graded at all.  The classic 1ST Press fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback is overall in superb condition!!! It has a beautiful smooth laminate finish. However these is a patch of wear to the spin that partially obscures some spine text. This is not as bad as it sounds though ad does not detract from this awesome sleeve!! This rare sleeve easily grades as EX-!!!  Of course, this record comes with its correct and MEGA RARE hexagonal blue bordered Decca 'Stereo' inner sleeve. These also always suffer from horrendous seam splitting and yellowing as mentioned above. MOst have now been lost and when you do see a copy of this album for sale it is invariably without this inner - This one is different - It lies perfectly flat with no seam splits and no nasty creases!!! It retains all its vibrant whiteness and just has the occasional age spots on one side and a small circular yellow stain on the other side. A lovely examole of this rare inner sleeve which easily grades as Ex!!! A superb example!!! This really is a one off chance to own an awesome example of this the scarce UK Unboxed Decca Stereo 1st Press of this rare and absolutely classic LP. We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...

Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.

We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed.
