Original blue swirl label and one of the rarest of all Rolling Stones' picture sleeves
I have collected too many 45rpm records over the years and must start "letting some go". This 45rpm record was purchased at an estate auction along with numerous others (many NM w/original picture sleeves). I paid dearly for this collection and believe most of the records where never played (only collected). Trying to recover some of my cost (keep some, sell some).
VINYL RECORD CONDITION: VG++ with clean label and glossy vinyl (a couple of very light scuffs, that do not have an effect on play). I did test the record by playing it "once", as I have come across records that appear to be unplayed, but still have skips.
SLEEVE CONDITION: Sleeve has no seam splits, minor wear at the upper edge and very light ring wear. The previous collector typed the title of the record and date they purchased it on narrow strips of paper, then attached them to the upper edge of the sleeve (one side) with scotch tape. The tape and strips of paper came off easily, but stains from the old brittle tape remain. These stains may or may not be able to be removed or improved by bleaching or by using solvents, and should only be done by an expert in paper restoration. If the old tape stains weren't there, I feel this would be a NM sleeve.
Because of it's rarity, insurance will be required.
