THE ROLLING STONES LP, TATTOO YOU was released in 1981 on Rolling Stones RECORDS, CAT # COC 16052. This record marked the tail end of a burst of great records in the late 70s to the early 80s. Maybe it was the injection of Ronnie Wood's guitar energy, or maybe it was just a moment, but the LPs from this era are great. And when this LP was released, 2 decades after starting the band, they were still on top of the world.
This is a very super clean copy. The cover is in great condition with just a small to the left of Jaggers nose. The bottom and top seams have slight shelf wear, and the spine is in wonderful shape. The ORIGINAL INNER is also beautiful. Near MINT condition with the exception of 2 bottom corner small dings. The VINYL looks and plays perfectly, and is NEAR MINT. It sports RL stampers on both sides, which indicated the the great Robert Ludwig mastered this pressing. He's a legend, and if you're unfamiliar google him to see what a special mastering engineer he is. Having the RL stampers gives this pressing a lot of panache, as well as that RL touch with the sound quality. Great copy of this killer LP.
