on DECCA RECORDS rare DEMO SAMPLE 'A' lable issue,
F.12546 from 1967

A true classic double-'A' sided GEM of a single release, this was issued in the heart of the exciting era in pop and beat music.
England was swinging, the Beatles and Stones were now world famous and every release was exalted and heavily anticipated. People were talking about these bands as big news, buzzing with the latest news, what they said, when they were seen on tv and in the papers.
Even this song 'Let's Spend The Night Together' caused a bit of a stir in America, and Mick Jagger even had to modify that to "Spend SOME TIME Together"!
Both sides of this are incredible good songs, and both Jagger/Richard compositions.
This is the DEMO as sent to radio and reviewers at the time of issue, before availed to the public for sale.

CONDITION of the vinyl here is NM/VG++.
The 'Spend The Night' side is sparkling, looks beautiful and no marks. Ruby Tuesday has one fine line across, otherwise no other marks.
Lables are very clean, NM-, with sticker removal damage on 'Ruby' side which is VG for that reason.
