CONDITION:
Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 401 turntable with an SME 3012 tonearm and Ortofon Cadenza cartridge.
We treat grading very seriously and use the UK Record Collector grading scale with the addition of a (+) or (– ) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition.
Record:
Both surfaces display a full and complete lustre. With minimal blunt light paper chaffing only (No feelable marks). The first pressing unboxed Blue / SILVER Decca labels show no writing, rips, tears, stamps or stickers. Very Light use to the spindle hole only. Plays superbly Condition Grade = EX+.
Cover:
The Front laminated cover displays superbly retaining it’s full original crisp colour to the front slick. All seams are true, corners are not rounded, light laminate crease to front bottom right section. The back slick is in nice order, all text is legible, whiteness has been retained and colours display very well –. The pinched spine is superb, the opening edge is razor sharp. No stickers, writing or other detractors. This is a superb example EX+ (EXCELLENT PLUS)
Poster
The Thick paper poster is in splendid order. I genuinely do not believe this poster has ever been out of the cover before, the x4 folds are crisp, the original colour is exactly the same as the day it left the factory. No pin holes, foxing, creases, writing staining, or other detractors = Near Mint
inner sleeve
The original stock stereo inner sleeve presents well with minor creasing only – EX+
Packaging:
Records within the inner sleeve will be removed from the cover and sandwiched between professional card stiffeners then inserted into a protective plastic sleeve. This package is then placed within a professional cruciform record mailer (N.B: We do not use cheap mailers)
