Description

Here is a real rarity for Stones collectors: an original first pressing unboxed London copy of Let It Bleed by Rolling Stones released in Uruguay in 1970 in a flipback single sleeve complete with its original London poster. And it's in great condition.

The lovely thick heavy slab of original vinyl sits perfectly flat on the turntable and looks and plays brilliantly. There's hardly a mark on these grooved original blue labels, indicating very little play. Both sides of the vinyl look superb, with just the wispiest of hairlines showing when inspected closely under halogen lighting. This great disc easily grades VG+ (UK Record Collector gradings) and plays as well as it looks.

The original and vulnerable unlaminated flipback sleeve has survived well with all sharp edges and all spinal text fully readable and just a little hardly noticeable creasing, ringwear and edgewear, and one little damaged spot near the bottom left front where possibly some object has pressed into the sleeve (though this is very small indeed). This fine sleeve grades VG-.

The original poster seems to be brighter than UK issue posters, with an especially glossy and more colourful appearance, and a matt papery feel to the rear. This poster has clearly never been up on a wall, and has no pin holes, tape residue or signs of Bluetak, but just a little edgewear here and there and some minor creasing where it has been handled.

Good luck if you are bidding but please contact me first for likely postal costs if you are bidding from outside the UK. Immediate payment required at end of auction please. And don't forget to check out my other rare vinyl currently listed.
