It really is hard to find this LP in barely played condition like this copy. Not only that but it is a mono copy in a red Decca mono sleeve, with a stickered cover and the original poster of the group.

The vinyl is just about perfect. Visually graded EX++ and aurally even higher. There are no marks visible on the playing surfaces even under bright angled light. There is really nothing more to say - I could go on about the awesome black vinyl etc but all you really need to know is that this LP looks to heve been played no more that 3 or 4 times and that it plays perfectly with no clicks, crackle, pops,, hiss, sticks, jumps. This LP looks and plays like a brand new copy.

The boxed Decca labels are perfect with no signs of play at all and I would graded these as the highest EX++

Moving to the cover. This is the original front laminated cover with the hole in the rear to indicate mono or stereo. This is the mono version and has the original red mono inner sleeve. The cover is sharp, flat, with no creases, no writing or blemishes. the spine is Straight and perfectly readable. Over all the cover grades as at least EX if not better

The inner is also very nice and grades EX+. This copy has the poster. The poster is EX+ with no signs of handlling or wear at all. It has been displayed and there tiny pinholes in the corners but theSe hardly noticeable and I missed them when I first looked at it.

OVERALL I HAVE NOT SEEN A BETTER COPY OF THIS LP AND WOULD GRADE IT AS AT LEAST EX+ AND VINYL AS EX+++

Please note that unless the play quality is specifically mentioned records are graded visually. PLEASE NOTE I NO LONGER USE THE TERM 'MINT' OR 'NEAR MINT' to describe vinyl. In practice there are very few records out there that have not been played at least once and I wish to avoid the tendency amongst sellers to overgrade their items for sale. I aim to describe the visual appearance of all items accurately using the standards below which are based on the UK Record Collector Price Guide. The highest grade I use now is EX++. Records graded EX+ or EX++ would probably be called 'near mint' or 'mint' by most sellers. Please READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. I will refund only on items which do not conform to the description and standards set out here.

GRADING SYSTEM

EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.

VERY GOOD: The record has been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover and contents show some wear.

GOOD:The record has been played and alot and sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are damaged.

I use EX++,EX+,EX,EX-,VG++,VG+,VG,VG- as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG- in condition.
