LET IT BLEED

1969 UK UN-BOXED DECCA STEREO SKL-5025

XZAL - 9363 - P - 3W

XZAL - 9364 - P - 5W

Here is a superb original uk stereo first pressing of the musically flawless 1969 Stones classic 'Let It Bleed'. This is a very rare 100% complete uk first unboxed decca label stereo pressing with stickered sleeve, uncensored Let It Bleed inner sleeve and folded Stones poster. The thick pressed stereo vinyl with unboxed decca labels is in extremely clean condition with no noticeable surface marks, the first issue 'Upton Press' front laminated cover with poster sticker attached is also in brilliant near mint condition, the original uncensored blue/white 'Let It Bleed' stereo paper inner sleeve is excellent and clean with no seem splits, and lastly the rare original fold-out Rolling Stones poster is in beautiful mint- clean and tidy condition with no pin holes, marks or rips. Original uk first pressings of 'Let It Bleed' are getting very difficult to find in such superb very clean condition as this. This is just a brilliant 100% complete uk stereo first issue that will definitely not disappoint in any way. All pictures provided with this auction are of the actual album for sale. Please check out my other items!

The thick stereo first press vinyl still has a beautiful original extremely clean sheen, both sides really do look just about perfect and visually grade a stunning NM condition, there are absolutely no noticeable surface marks, scuffs or scratches at all, even when scrutinised you will struggle to see any surface marks, the most you will find are just a couple of hard to spot very top surface sleeve withdrawal hairlines, this rare Stones album has obviously been very well cared for and looks to have been barely played at all. There are no surface marks so there are no loud clicks or pops, i played all tracks right through before this listing and i did not hear one background click, both sides only play with some occasional light background hiss/crackle. This album has been rarely played and has remained neatly stored away for the past few decades, with a professional wet/dry vacuum clean this record should play just about perfect. Both first press un-boxed stereo decca labels are in excellent very clean condition with barely any visible spindle traces, the label of side-2 has a very small area where the print is just slightly lighter but this does not look bad or unsightly at all, apart from this small printing flaw these labels cannot be faulted.

The original front laminated single sleeve with poster sticker attached was made and printed in the uk by the 'Upton Printing Group'. This cover is in really fantastic clean condition throughout and would grade mint if not for a minute amount of creasing to the tip of the front top left corner. The front lamination with original poster sticker attached still looks brilliant, the lamination is still extremely glossy and reflective and looks as good today as it did some 40 years ago when first printed. The matt back cover is also still in superb very clean condition and is free of wear and ageing and discolouration. The top and bottom edges and spine are all free of wear and creasing and all spine text is bold and clear and very easy to read. The vinyl has not been removed from the cover very often at all so the opening edge is still straight and sharp. This cover is just in stunning condition and it would be difficult to find better.

The original 19'' x 21'' folded Stones poster is in immaculate MINT- condition and looks as good as new. The poster has never been hung so there are no pin-holes, tape-marks or traces of blutac, there are also no creases or rips and the back is still nice and consistently clean with no marks. This poster has remained folded inside the album sleeve since new and has only ever been taken out and opened up just a few times, so the colours are still bright and vivid with no age fading or discolouration. You will not find this rare 40 year old Rolling Stones poster in better condition than this, it's just about perfect. The original ucensored blue/white stereo 'Let It Bleed' paper inner sleeve is in excellent very clean condition, it shows just light signs of handling/creasing. The vinyl has spent almost all of it's time stored inside a more vinyl friendly poly-lined inner sleeve so this original thin paper 'Let It Bleed' inner is still in really great condition with no rips or seem splits.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING TO BID

I pack my records very well with plenty of rigid card support to avoid damage. I keep all Post Office Payment Recipes as proof of postage. I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels i send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. I cannot take responsibility for any non-insured items that may be unfortunate to go missing or get damaged in the post. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind. So, if for some reason a non-insured parcel does not arrive, then i'm afraid that i cannot be held responsible for loss or damage. If you do not agree to this then please do not bid. Thank you.
