On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Rolling Stones called 'High Tide & Green Grass' and is an ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press UNBOXED 'Grooved' Decca label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  BUT THIS ONE IS EVEN MORE SPECIAL AS IT COMES WITH A 100% GENIUNE 'EXTRA' FRONT COVER 'PROOF' SLICK!!!!  THIS LP CAME FROM AN EX-DECCA EMPLOYEE FROM THE 1960S.  HE OBTAINED THIS LP (AND THE ORIGINAL FRONT COVER PROOF) WELL BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER!!!!  THE COVER & RECORD ARE THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' - WITH A 'GROOVED' UNBOXED DECCA LABEL, AND THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER + BOOKLET!!!!  BUT WHAT IS REALLY INTERESTING (AND CLEARLY UNIQUE!) IS THE AMAZING 'EXTRA' AND 100% GENIUNE 'FRONT COVER PROOF' SLICK!!!! 

THE FIRST THING TO CLEAR IS THAT THIS ULTRA RARE FRONT COVER 'PROOF' SLICK IS 100% GENIUNE!!!!  AND IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO VERIFY THIS CORRECTLY!!!!  FIRSTLY THE LAMINATE HAS EVENLY 'SHRUNK' AWAY FROM THE ALL EDGES (INCLUDING THE LEFT HAND EDGE) LEAVING AN EVEN 1MM UNLAMINATED EDGE ALL ROUND TO THE FRONT COVER 'PROOF'.  THIS CAN ONLY HAPPEN FROM MANY MANY YEARS OF 'LAMINATE SHRINKAGE' FROM NEW - AND PROVES WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THAT THIS ISNT SIMPLY A 'DETACHED' COVER FRONT FROM ANY 1ST PRESS LP!!!!  SECONDLY I HAVE SHOWN THE ORIGINAL 'CLIP MARK' ON THE TOP RIGHT OF THE FRONT COVER PROOF - WHICH HAS LIFTED THE LAMINATE SLIGHTLY IN THE 'CLIP' SHAPE (SEE CLOSE UP PICTURE).  THIS WAS CLEARLY WHERE THIS 'COVER PROOF' WAS ORIGINALLY ATTACHED TO THE ORIGINAL PAPERWORK!!!!  THIRDLY THE 'PROOF' IS FRACTIONALLY LARGER THAN A USUAL FRONT COVER - AND MORE IMPORTANTLY IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOUR!!!!  IN MY COMPARISON PICTURES YOU CAN SEE THAT THIS 'COVER PROOF' (ON THE LEFT IN THE COMPARISON PICTURE) HAS A FAR FAR CLEARER PICTURE OF THE ROLLING STONES, AND IS ALMOST 'YELLOW' IN COLOUR (WHEREAS STANDARD COVERS ARE FAR MORE 'BLUE')!!!!  AN AMAZING COLOUR VARIATION!!!!  AND LASTLY THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO RECORD IMPRESSION ON THE BACK OR FRONT OF THE COVER PROOF - CLEARLY SHOWING THAT IT WAS NEVER IN CONTACT WITH A RECORD AT ANY TIME!!!!  WHAT AN AMAZING ITEM THIS IS!!!!  100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP ARE EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND ON THEIR OWN - BUT FINDING ONE WITH AN 'EXTRA' AND 100% GENIUNE FRONT COVER PROOF SLICK IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is TXL 101 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press UNBOXED 'Grooved' Decca Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Rolling Stones at their best!!!! Any fan of The Rolling Stones, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light wispy scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  Not only that but the sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must STRICTLY grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Handling/Playing' inner sleeve which is in AWESOME condition!!!!  The 'Earliest' 1st Press Gatefold Laminated Cover (+ Booklet) is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The cover has NO edge wear to the front opening edge flap (IMPOSSIBLE on this cover!), barely ANY edge wear to the back gatefold edges, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO yellowing!!!!  ALL the pages in the booklet are in SUPERB condition - with the exception of 1 that appears to have some kind of 'creaseline'.  This 'creaseline' is visible - but this page is PERFECTLY strong at this point and still looks BRILLIANT with ALL the colour intact!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  THE ULTRA RARE 100% GENIUNE 'EXTRA' FRONT COVER 'PROOF' IS IN AWESOME CONDITION - BEING PERFECTLY FLAT LOOKING AND HAVING BARELY ANY CREASES AT ALL!!!!  It must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
