Another from my personal collection of over 50,000 albums that I have collected over a period of more than 45 years! 1st UK pressing of 'Get Off Of My Cloud' & 'The Singer Not The Song' on the original Un-boxed Decca labels (later press feature boxed Decca labels) Very early -T1-2C -T1-2C Matrix endings and Look Earliest 1to1 Mother stampers on both sides! The audio is truly stunning through out! Audio Graded Near Mint on both sides! The Vinyl looks barely played in my personal opinion, barely traces of very feint spider marks can just be seen! "Get Off of My Cloud" is a song by the English rock band the Rolling Stones.
It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards as single to follow the successful "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction".
Recorded in early September 1965 and released that November, the song topped the charts in the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany, reaching ?No.?2 in Australia and Ireland.
The Stones have said that the song is a reaction to their suddenly greatly enhanced popularity and deals with their aversion to people's expectations of them after the success of "Satisfaction".
According to Keith Richards, "'Get off of My Cloud' was basically a response to people knocking on our door asking us for the follow-up to 'Satisfaction' ... We thought 'At last. We can sit back and maybe think about events'. Suddenly there's the knock at the door and of course what came out of that was 'Get off of My Cloud'".
The Singer Not The Song, This song is by The Rolling Stones and appears on the B side of "Get Off Of My Cloud" 7" single and the album "December's Children (and Everybody's)" (1965) and on the compilation album "Singles Collection The London Years" (1985)

The Vinyl
On visual inspection this is of the original heavier and thicker vinyl and more robust than later pressings which are much more flimsier! The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable. This looks superb, still retaining its original glossy sheen from new. Only in strong light very (very) few surface marks can possibly be seen caused by the vinyl been slid in and out of its sleeve. Importantly, (no) needle scratches that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops very rare to find on a Stones vinyl after 51 years!!
TheAudio
I have played this vinyl prior to listing on a top system at very loud volume, importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge! The audio is absolutely superbe cristal clear and vibrant throughout! Mega clear and vibrant Mono audio on all frequencies!. There were no distortion, no, loud contant clicks pops or of course any jumps. Truly awesome and very rare for a 1st pressing.(NO) Signs of groovware at all! This audio is graded Near as Mint in my opinion!

PLEASE NOTE! I always add this disclaimer! I have played this album prior to listing as usual and have given my honest opinion on the audio quality. Please remember this is a 51 years old original vinyl (not a reissue) Please allow for the odd static (not) consistant through out the audio, perhapes only heard at intros or quieter places outros etc!,, This would have been originally played on a system that is 51 years old!
All indications i.e. that this vinyl has (not) been overplayed and in fact hardly played are the audio quality superbe on all frequencies and the fact there are barely handful of spider marks only!
The labels
This features the Un boxed Decca labels. These are superbe very light rubbing/markings that are only really noticed if looked for in my opinion, with very little spidering (I can just barely see just a feint handful) , little if (no) spindle ware! This vinyl has hardly been played at all at least just a handful amount of times in my personal opinion!
The Record Cover Sleeve
This is the original 1st Issued orange/white Decca paper sleeve. Correct for this issue. Light general creasing/fading/yellowing/wear with age only. No splits or tears. The original. Note, The vinyl is now always stored separate from the sleeve.
