Description

I have been collecting records for over 35 years, after much thought I have decided to part with some of my most treasured items and let them go to a fellow collector as the next custodian in the chain. I’ve always strived to get the best copy I could at the time.

All records have been cleaned on my Keith Monks Record Cleaning Machine and my Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine. The records have been played on my Micro Seiki RX 5000 with either a Ortofon SPU GT (Stereo) or a SoundSmith Carmen (Mono).

I will be listing more Rolling Stones shortly ...

This auction is for the following: -

COVER - VG++

PHOTO - NM

VINYL - VG+

LABEL - There is a printed Name and address label on the label. I purchased a collection from the original owner years ago. I have not attempted to remove it, although i know it will easily come off as other have done so in the collection - naturally.

Notes

This is a first pressing, with record denoting that it is 'made in England'. Also notice slightly different song titles on labels. These came with covers featuring the blurb about free full color photo of the Rolling Stones, included on few copies.

All true first pressings of the first four Rolling Stones albums issued on London Records for the United States will have labels similar to these. Note the upside down number on right side of label. They will always say "Made in England".

Full set includes the original inner sleeve: white with black lines along the border, "LONDON ffrr" logo at the top and FULL FREQUENCY RANGE RECORDING at the bottom.
