ROLLIN STONES: Emotional Rescue, UK orig. 1980 orig. pressing, CUN 39111. Here is what I BELIEVE must be a UK PROMOTIONAL pressing of 'Emotional rescue'. I have NEVER seen or heard of this before - a UK orig. LP with a STUNNING silver cover with paste-on art-work. The LP itself is a orig. UK 1st pressing, 1980. With 'sterling' stamp in trail off, CUN-39111-A-4U, CUN 39111-B-3U matrixes. The cover is silver and has a paste-on photo. CONDITION, COVER: EX+, light press-marks, light ring is visible. MINT- disc. Comes with the lyric insert. This came from a big collection of Stones LPs - but I don't know the original owner, so the exact origin is something of a mystery. The definition of the colors of the paste-on photo on front, and the way it glued to the silver cover, tells me that is not some private amateur who made it for fun. Another thing speaking in favor of this being a true promotinal issue is the existence of a japanese promo-only single of 'Emtional Rescue' with similar artwork. See www.popsike.com. GRADINGS: I have ten years of experience of selling vintage vinyl. I aim at selling top quality LPs only. Gradings are on the M/ EX/VG+/VG scale. I will rarely I sell LPs less than VG+.
MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
PLAYGRADING: There's no guessing about condition from visual look. The visual look of a record is very important, but it only tells part of the truth. Therefore I playgrade and carefully check all my offered LPs.
